11th January 2026 Hiking - Walking: Trimley circuit Wind Direction: Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: cloudy and chilly Max Speed: Distance Covered: Sunday 11th January - walk ** – Trimley circuit – cloudy, drizzle and cold. I missed the aurora last night, we now have an alert on the mobile and slept through a cracking sunrise this morning, can’t win them all! Another breezy day but only 4 degrees, way too cold for me to go windsurfing, maybe tomorrow as I haven’t been on the water since 14th December ! The sun did not last long and the day remained cloudy, after doing our exercises we drove over to the Trimley churches to check for the first snowdrops, there were a few coming through but still a little early, will try again in a few days. We then did a 2.50 mile circuit around Trimley in the mud, not very pleasant in the chilly wind, we were pleased to get home for a hot water bottle and a cuppa! Photo Album here 2026 |
